Five Minute Friday: TMJ Botox And Jawline Slimming

In this episode...

Happy Friday, Beauty Byters! In this week’s Five Minute Friday, I will be discussing TMJ Botox and Masseter Botox. Botox injection into the masseter muscle is ideal for patients experiencing temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), which can cause them to grind and clench their teeth. It can also be incredibly effective for patients who have frequent tension or migraine headaches, and for patients who do not like the shape of their face because of square or thick jawlines. Within a week of receiving masseter botox, facial muscle tension is relieved, and after 6-8 weeks the muscles will atrophy- meaning they will relax and the jawline will appear slimmer. To hear more about why masseter botox could be for you tune in to this weeks podcast.
