5 Questions to Ask About Your Potential Injector

This post is inspired by my feature on The Skinny Confidential podcast! Check out my episode here.
The world of injecting is huge! There are so many products, options, and injectors! But this means you have to be careful when making choices about who’s going to be injecting for you. The human face is a fragile and delicate form that should be worked on by someone who appreciates it. An injector should also be knowledgable, experienced, and professional. Here are 5 questions that you should ask before you give someone permission to inject on your face!
1. Are they certified?
Be sure you’re seeing someone who’s board certified. If you can find a physician or a surgeon, someone who has their credentials, you’re more likely to avoid risks! Board certifications say a lot about the credibility of your injector.
2. How much do they inject?
Make sure your injector is a high volume physician! Diamond providers and platinum providers, like myself, do high volumes of treatments! Repetition is the key to good outcomes. Verify with staff how high volume your injector is.
3. Can they show you great results?
Look to physicians who can give you examples of their work. Do they seem confident in their photos and videos? Do they love their subject matter? Your injector should also just give you great vibes! They should make the process fun and relaxed for their clients.
4. What’s the office status like?
Just like the injector, office staff should also be knowledgeable and friendly. They are a reflection of the injector! Find an office where you feel comfortable and welcomed.
5. Who is the one speaking to you and addressing your concerns?
Be sure that you speak with the injector themselves. Many places have consultants who are sales people, not medical professionals. Your injector should take the time to sit down with you and explain your treatment from a medical standpoint.
