5 Steps To A Smoother Neck

Face & Body

With the neck being one of the most commonly forgotten areas treated during one's skincare routine, we tend to overlook the fact that it deserves just as much attention as the skin on your face! The reason why is because as we get older the muscles of the neck start to weaken and the skin loses elasticity, only leaving us to notice the damage later in age and not earlier when we can prevent it.

But just before pulling out those scarves and despite gravity’s work, I have carefully constructed the best solutions and key ingredients to reverse the aging process:

1. KD Neck Refirming Therapy

This neck cream is an excellent first step to kick start your neck regimen. It contains a biomimetic ceramide complex to nourish your skin and strengthen elasticity, skin-firming peptides to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and niacinamide to support healthy collagen production. As for concerns regarding the appearance of sagging, I made sure to include Leontopodium Alpinum Callus Culture to diminish and control it.

2. THERMISmooth Radio-Frequency Skin Tightening

Got 45 minutes to spare to take away decades of aging from your neck? This device uses radiofrequency energy to heat underlying tissues to promote rapid collagen growth. From the application of heat, THERMIsmooth can penetrate through several layers into the skin to get collagen to target and tighten problematic areas. This is an effective, non-invasive and painless procedure that feels like a hot-stone massage with zero downtime required!https://youtu.be/1cH8xM_SjWg

3. Fillers for horizontal lines

4. Botox for Muscle Bands

For those struggling with the appearance of platysmal bands, botox is an excellent choice. Neck muscles contract when we grimace and make certain facial expressions, and as we age, the platysmal bands tend to droop and stretch out. To slow the progression, botox can be used to smooth these bands and prevent the muscles from contracting.

5. Lymphatic Massage After Kybella Treatments

Kybella is an incredible injectable product to use for eliminating stubborn submental fat since it’s composed of a fat-melting enzyme called Deoxycholic Acid. So for those hiding their double necks under their turtle necks, Kybella works wonders for it. Although keep in mind that following this procedure, there can be quite a bit of swelling which is why receiving lymphatic massages after is highly recommended to prevent or control the swelling by diffusing extra fluid away. You can do this at home by simply using your hands and start by gently placing both hands beneath the midline of your chin, carry them out laterally and work them down toward your collar bones in an upside-down “J” motion.

No matter what season, weather, or age, stay beautiful!
