Habits That I'm Over
- Speaking negatively to yourself- Since the pandemic started, you may have faced obstacles in your life, career, or relationships you may have never had to face before. It can become easy to be discouraged, or have a pessimistic outlook on current situations. It doesn't have to be that way! You can do your best everyday, and your best doesn't have to look the same everyday. Tell yourself every day, "You got this." You'll start to feel more confident, and with that mindset, you have unlimited possibilities.
- Nourishing yourself improperly-Let's be real. We've all experienced some form of "Quarantine 15." Due to stress, anxiety, or worry, we might've gotten a bit lazy and might've had one too many cheat meals and skipped one too many pilates classes. Let's change this. Eating healthy and working out might be activities you think are difficult to get into, but once you build a habit out of them, it becomes a routine!
- Ignoring your boundaries- Never feel that you're lame, or uncool to say no if you're uncomfortable in any situation. Respect others' boundaries, and others should respect yours as well. You have a right to have boundaries, and you should feel comfortable to say no.
Resetting Your Mind
- Don't allow your fear or self-doubt hold you back: Let's face it, 2021 was stressful enough. If you've been thinking about doing some self-care on you and your face, whether it'd be filler, botox, chemical peels, etc., and you've been scared for people's judgments or other reasons, it's time to just go for it! You truly only live once and you should live your life doing what you want to do. If you go to the right aesthetician or the right injector, there's nothing to fear!
- Commit to little things that make you look and feel beautiful- Whether is Baby Botox, a brow lift, or a facial, these are little steps you can take to look and feel beautiful.
- Pick up a hobby or find joy in small things throughout your daily routine that help keep your spirits up. Sometimes, life can feel repetitive and you can feel burnt out, especially if you work a 9-5. Push yourself to find your zest in other things, like a hobby, to have something to look forward to and make memories of.
- Detoxify and purify your life-Use cleaner skincare, eat cleaner, and workout your body. If you've never taken the time to feed your body and soul good things, believe me, now is the time. Take your supplements, sign up for that yoga class, and cook yourself a healthy meal. Engaging in these simple steps should bring you great joy and a sense of accomplishment and well-being.
